The Financial Wellbeing app offers the ability to purchase pre-paid electronic gift cards for food and shopping discounts using your available Stream balance. Gift cards can be found in the Discounts product on the Hub (lower right corner on the bottom navigation bar), under 'Everyday savings' (second row).

We have recently updated the name of Vouchers to Gift Cards following feedback from our members - they work in exactly the same way.

To purchase a new gift card:

• Go to Discounts in the app and tap 'Explore all discounts'.

• Search for the brand you want to purchase a gift card for, or scroll the page to find the brand you are looking for.

•  Tap on the brand you are interested in shopping at.

NOTE: Some retailers may only offer discounts but not gift cards, or you may see a combination of discounts and gift cards on this page.

• If available, tap on the tile in the gift card section ‘Buy new gift card’.

• Enter the amount you would like to spend on the voucher or select from the pre-set amounts on the page. You will see a calculation at the top of the screen to show how much you will pay for the gift card.

• Once you are happy, click ‘Continue’.

• You will be able to change the payment type to be:

• Get your gift card now by Streaming from your available balance - this may include a Stream fee.

NOTE: Buying a gift card with this method will count as a stream.

This means that if you or your employer have set limits on the number of streams you can make per pay period, purchasing a voucher will count against the available number of streams for that pay period.

This also means that if you have used all of your streams for the pay period, you will not be able to purchase another voucher until your new pay period begins.

• Get your gift card on payday which delays you being able to use the gift card but there is no Stream fee.

• You will now see a breakdown of all details including the Terms & Conditions. Please check all of this and once you are happy to proceed, tap ‘Buy Voucher’.

To view purchased gift card:

• Go to the Discounts page in Hub.

• In the top left corner will be a tile called 'My gift cards' - tap this to view/ access your gift cards 

To use a gift cards:

• Go back to the "My gift cards" section in the app. Here, you will see a list of all the gift cards you've purchased.

• Identify the gift card you want to activate.

• Select ‘Use’ and follow the instructions on screen to use or redeem the code (depending on the retailer).
