How does Stream help me find my old pensions?

After you have signed up in the app, Stream starts searching. We use special tools to help find lost or old pensions. You don't need to know much, and don’t worry, we won’t ask for pension policy numbers or the names of old providers.

Here is how we find your old pensions:

1. We search for your pensions: We use the information you gave us to look for pensions linked to your name and old jobs.

2. We contact companies: Stream contacts pension companies that might hold your money.

3. We gather information: We ask them to confirm if you have a pension with them and how much money is in it.

4. We show you what we found: As we find the details of each pension, we will add them to your Stream account in the app. You will see the dates the pension covers, who the provider is and the balance held.

Note, the balance will not update over time. It is a snapshot showing the balance at the time we contacted the provider. It’s possible that we might find additional pensions that have been completely forgotten about, as our searches can stretch across lots of providers.
